This intensive full day comprehensive curriculum will be presented by local HPNA approved educators. Topics include pain & symptom management, care of the dying, communication, spiritual care and bereavement, and professional issues.
The course is designed for both the less experienced hospice and palliative care practitioner (<2 years of experience) and also the more experienced practitioner who would like a broad review of the field, perhaps in preparation for NBCHPN certification.
The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association is the provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 7976, for contact hours. Full day attendance must be completed to receive the 7 nursing contact hours.
Refunds for nonattendance after registration will be made if cancelation is received by April 10th, minus a $20 processing fee.
HPNA Member: $75 (must include membership number and expiration date)
Non-HPNA Member $125
