Certified Nurses Day™ honors nurses worldwide who contribute to better patient outcomes through national board certification in their specialty. A registered nurse (RN) license allows nurses to practice. Certification affirms advanced knowledge, skill, and practice to meet the challenges of modern nursing.
Join the Minnesota Provisional Chapter of HPNA on April 17, 2013 for Minnesota’s first Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) sanctioned day of intense education designed to support a nurse’s preparation for the RN Generalist certification exam. Provided by the National Board for Certification of Hospice & Palliative Nurses (NBCHPN),* the event is organized through the Minnesota Provisional Chapter of HPNA and includes comprehensive testing curriculum presented by approved HPNA educators. HPNA is the provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 7976, for contact hours. Completion of the training grants you 7.25 nursing contact hours.
